SUFFOLK - Albert Dennis Cooper, 63, of 2005 Hickorywood Drive, Suffolk, entered into eternal rest and peace on December 23, 2007 at Autumn Care Nursing Home, Suffolk. He was born in Como, North Carolina and was son of the late Albert T. and Addie V. Cooper.
Mr. Cooper attended East Suffolk High School. He retired as a Tour Bus Driver in 1992 after 20 years of service. He was a former member of Tabernacle Church of Christ and had served as a young adult usher.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Renee Parker, Inez Hall, and Lisa Cooper; two sons, Chris Cooper and Cory Cooper, all of Suffolk; sisters, Ellen K. Copeland of Suffolk and Gracie D. Woodson (Lavell) of Portsmouth; brother, George T. Cooper (Missouri) of Suffolk; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; aunt, Hester Windsor; uncle, Calvin Cowpen; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Albert Dennis "Buddy" Cooper had a passion for driving tour buses and taking people on shopping trips, to Atlantic City and New York City, to the mountains and other destinations; and that was his love.
