On Thursday, March 6, 2008, our beloved and honored mother, Bernice Holloman experienced a unique sunset. God called her from labor to reward while a patient at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Now she thrives with a unique sunrise, eternal life.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Jackson Holloman and son, Alton J. Holloman. She is survived by two daughters, Aravia and Lillian Holloman, both of Bowie, MD; Also survived by a sister, Bessie Akins of Norfolk, VA; a brother, Rudolph Davis of Bronx, NY, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday March 15, 2008 at 1 PM at New Branch Baptist Church in Ivor, VA. Viewing from 11 AM until time of service. Internment follows at Warren Cemetery in Ivor. Arrangements by Crocker Funeral Home.
