Clarence C. Faulks, 87, of 4861 Sleepy Hole Road, died November 12, 2009 at Bon Secours, Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth, VA. He was a native of Portsmouth Virginia. He was the son of the late Charlie C. Faulks and Minne Johnson Faulks. He was the proprietor of a store. He is predeceased by two brothers: Morris Faulks and James Faulks.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters: Teresa L. Moore (Christopher), Portsmouth, VA and Pauline Terry, Trenton, New Jersey; one son: Rev. Keith Mayfied (Sandra), Suffolk, VA; three sisters: Sarah Petree (Milton), Florida, Minnie Brown, and Joan Brown, Buffalo, NY; one brother: Melvin Brown, Buffalo, NY; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four nieces; two nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 1 :00 p.m. Poplar Run Baptist Church, 5330 Bennetts Pasture Road. Interment will be held at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will be at the home of the Rev. Keith Mayfield, 4869 Sleepy Hole Road, Suffolk, VA. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
