SUFFOLK - Chatt F. Mizell, Jr. 82, Suffolk, VA died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in his residence. He was a native of Gates, NC and the son of the late Chatt F. Mizell, Sr. and Rachel M. Mizell.

He was a retired Fork-lifter from Planters Peanut Company and he was an Army Veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Betty Wynn of Queens, NY; two sons, Clifton Mizell (Susie) of Bronx, NY and Edward Mizell of Suffolk, VA; nineteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; three devoted nieces, Joyce Harper, Dorothy Waters, and Delois White all of Suffolk, VA; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m.; Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at New Jerusalem Apostolic Church officiated by Bishop Leslie Harper. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
