SUFFOLK –– Catherine M. Hobson of 2020 Carolina Road, Suffolk, entered into eternal rest and peace on June 7, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County and daughter of the late Kinzey M. and Gustavia B. Milteer. She was the widow of Lawrence Hobson.

Mrs. Hobson was a former member of Mt. Ararat Christian Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Ralph Booth (Weriely), Joseph Booth (Margrit Ann), and Garner Lee Hobson, all of Suffolk; a devoted friend, John L. Stallings of Suffolk; nine grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Mt. Ararat Christian Church. Interment will be in the Lauder Skeeter Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
