Carol W. West of Franklin, Virginia, formerly of Washington, DC, departed this life on Thursday, May 22, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Leonard West, Sr.; four sons, Jerome E. Curry, Leonard West, Jr., Gerald West, and Darryl West; one daughter, Brittany Widdington (Darrin); mother, Geraldine S. Washington; two brothers, Paul E. Washington, Jr. (Dorothy) and Timothy Washington (Jehen); two grandchildren; one great aunt; four great uncles, four aunts; two uncles; and a host of other family and friends.

She was a supportive wife, helping to foster her husband and family in every way. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Services will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 12:30 pm at Crocker Funeral Home, 900 E. Washington Street, Suffolk, Virginia. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
