SUFFOLK - Darnell Harden, 46, of the 400 block of Cullodan Street, Suffolk, passed away October 2, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk and son of the late Jaydee and Martha Harden and was also preceded in death by a sister, Kim Harden.

He attended Suffolk High School and was a Baptist.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three sisters, Justine Jones (Albert), Flossie Horace, and Tina Stevenson, all of Suffolk; six brothers, Melvin Harden (Pam), Howard Harden, Ronald Harden (Carolyn), Donald Harden, Tracy Harden (Mary) and Derrick Harden, all of Suffolk; several aunts and uncles and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Sixth Street Baptist Church, 324 Goodman Street, officiated by Dr. James B. Williams. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
