Donnell La'Ron Warren, 19, of 305 N. Capital St., Suffolk, passed away Dec. 3, 2007, in Portsmouth, Va. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Regina Warren Edwards and Donnell L. Robinson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Anaya Vanise Warren, great-grandmother, Evelyn Armstrong, another great-grandmother, Gladys Warren and great-grandfather, Leon Porter II.

Mr. Warren attended Suffolk Public Schools and was an employee of the downtown Suffolk Wal-Mart.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Regina Warren Edwards, father, Donnell L. Robinson, four sisters, Crystal Jacobs, Ramona Rodgers both of Suffolk; Quanisha Robinson of Smithfield, Va.; and Kyn'Shondra Edwards of Suffolk; two brothers, Arnold Jacobs of Suffolk; and Ke'Andre Robinson of Smithfield. Maternal grandparents, Pastor Aron Porter Sr. and Gladys Porter, of Suffolk, Va.; paternal grandparents, Charles Williams Sr. of Clinton, Md. and Yvonne Gray of Suffolk; great-grandmother, Beulah Skinner of Suffolk; four aunts, Faye Robinson, Lisa Robinson, Nikki Robinson and a special aunt, Rhonda Cowling of Suffolk; two uncles, Aron Porter Jr. and Theotis Porter, a special cousin, Dekese Cowling, godmother, Freda Royster; god sisters, Chondra Madison, Shiquita Fields, Darrika Riddick, Chyna Brown and Kenya Thomas, all of Suffolk; and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Rising St. James PHC, 201 N. 6th St., Suffolk, with Bishop D.L. Whitfield, officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 305 N. Capital St., Suffolk.
