Diane Worrell Everett of 521 Chisholm Lane, Suffolk died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her residence. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Franklin Roosevelt Worrell, Sr. and Cora Lee Hunt Worrell. She was also predeceased by her husband Larry Darnell Everett.

She was in the 1971 class of John F. Kennedy High School. She was a former supervisor of ARS Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Faith Deliverance Church in Norfolk.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Ta-Tanisha Watson (Ronald) of Portsmouth, VA; two sons, Vantonio Everett (Kristie) of Fort Hood, Texas and Larry Sean Everett, Sr. (Juanita) of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Deniece Carney (Roeshell) of Portsmouth and Gloria Jean Pierce of Suffolk; three brothers, Franklin Roosevelt Worrell, Jr. (Victoria) of Portsmouth, VA, Lorenzo Worrell and Steven M. Worrell both of Suffolk; one aunt, Ethel Thomas; a devoted friend, Janice Blair; nieces, nephews and many friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Oak Grove Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Anthony Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
