EMMA LEE FLETCHER 

 

SUFFOLK - Emma Lee Fletcher, 47, of 1004 Dover Court, Suffolk, went home to be with the Lord March 27, 2009. She was a native of Nansemond County and daughter of the late Raymond Lee Banks and Dora O. Banks.

She attended the Suffolk Public Schools and was a member of New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries, Inc..

Surviving to mourn her loss and cherish lasting and loving memories are her mother, Dora O. Banks; goddaughter, Tamika Riddick; uncle, Theodore White; devoted cousin, Elton P. Lee a very special godmother, Pastor Viola Parker; devoted friend, Richard Hunter; all of Suffolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Homegoing service will be celebrated at Noon Thursday, April 2, 2009 at New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries, Inc. by Pastor Viola Parker and Bishop William P. Wiggins. Interment will be in the Langston Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will be at the residence. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
