Ernestine Virginia Mack, 73, of 114 Nancy Drive, peacefully slipped away on May 24, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of North Carolina and daughter of the late Geneva J. and Willey Anderson. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Brown and Annie Laura Privot.

Ms. Mack was a former member of New Mt. Joy Food For Living Ministries. She leaves to cherish her fond memory: one daughter, Patricia Artis of Corapeake, NC, three grandchildren, Lonnie Artis, Renee Artis and Laura Artis, her Home Health-Aide and special friend, Katreil Gilmore and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M., Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Crocker Funeral Home Chapel, 900 E. Washington Street, Suffolk. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
