Florastine "Flora" Belgrave, 69, of 848 Colonel Meade Drive, Suffolk, Va., departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2008, in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Va. She was the daughter of the late William Cammon and Mary Elizabeth Cammon and was predeceased by one son, Anthony Alan Belgrave.
She retired as a manager for Bank of Wachovia. She attended Hunter College, New York City, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband , Claude Donald Belgrave, of Suffolk, Va.; one daughter, Carla Charisse Brown (David A. Brown Jr.), of Hampton, Va.; one son, Dr. Claude D. Belgrave Jr. (MD), of Suffolk, Va.; one granddaughter, Ashley Charisse Brown, of Hampton, Va.; three nieces, Lisa Bilton, Pamela Ortiz, Maria Jones; one nephew, Albert Ortiz Jr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel, Suffolk, Va. The Rev. Larry Gibson will officiate. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Va.
