SUFFOLK – Henrietta Louise Smalls of 1107 Fern Lane, Suffolk, passed away August 29, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital. A native of New York City, she was daughter of the late Thomas and Elvine Washington Dickerson and the widow of Floyd Smalls. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lance Dickerson. Mrs. Smalls was a retired Computer Analyst with the New York City Department of Social Services.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Sharon Smalls of Suffolk and Carolyn Eli of New York City; a grandson, Sean Christopher Thompson of Chesapeake; cousins and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service and Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
