Hattie Mae Foxworth, 73 of 22 Fairview Circle South, Portsmouth, VA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2009 in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA.

She was a native of Marion, South Carolina and the daughter of the late Theodore R. and Hattie Foxworth. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, J. Olivia White-Wilkes of Ft. Washington, MD, Jacqueline W. Little and Gloria S. M. White both of Portsmouth, VA; three sons, John S. White, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA, Willard T. R. White of Hampton, VA, Dembry Shabazz of Nottaway, VA; one daughter-in-law, Nasirah Shabazz; three sons-in-law, Leroy Wilkes, Jerry F. Little, Sr., and Gregory E. Waters, Sr.; twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Healing Fountain Macedonia Church with Bishop Robert Branch officiating. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family is at the home of Jacqueline Little, 542 Normandy Street, Portsmouth, VA. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
