Inell Woodard Holloman, 79 of 7501 Proctor Bridge Road, Ivor, VA died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at his residence. She was a native of Southampton County, VA and the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Emma Scott Woodard. She was also predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Holloman and one daughter Doris D. Woodard.

She retired from the Southampton Public School System. She was a member of New Branch Baptist Church and Morning Star Missionary Society.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Luther P. Woodard of Richmond, VA, Alvin Woodard (Deborah) of Wakefield, VA and James P. Woodard (Jennie) of Waverly, VA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; stepdaughter, Shirley Edwards, Evelyn Holloman and Virginia M. Clark; one brother, Delano L. Woodard (Florence) of Wakefield, VA; sisters-in-law, Virginia Holloman, Alice Price, Florence Woodard and Patricia Woodard; nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at New Branch Baptist Church, Ivor, VA officiated by Rev. Frank L. Aikens, Sr. Interment will be in Gilfield Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Alvin and Deborah Woodard, 135 Williams Lane, Wakefield, VA. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
