JASPER RANDOLPH KEE, SR.

SUFFOLK – Jasper Randolph Kee, Sr., 65, of 1100 Blythewood Lane, Suffolk, entered into eternal rest and peace on July 31, 2008. He was a native of Suffolk and son of the late Jesse Kee, Sr. and Beatrice Holley Kee. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Georgianna Kee White and Mary Kee Brown, five brothers, Leroy Kee, Zannie Kee, Jesse Kee, Jr., Rufus Kee, and James Kee; and one granddaughter, Keidre Cynise Winborne.
He attended East Suffolk High School and retired from Ciba Specialty Chemical Plant in 2000 after 15 years of service. He was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and the Men’’s Fellowship Ministry.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shirley A. Dailey Kee; three daughters, Deatrice A. Johnson (David) of Suffolk, Willetha D. Winborne (James) of Florida, and Tresha N. Rountree (Corey) of Chesapeake; one son, Jasper R. Kee, Jr. of Kentucky; one sister, Bessie M. Kee of Suffolk; four brothers, Javan Kee of Philadelphia, PA, Frank Kee (Berthinia) of Waterbury, CT, Arthur Kee (Celia, and Herman Kee (Maryann) of Suffolk; five grandchildren; a special niece, Rev. Lucille White; and a host of Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will Friday, August 8, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Faith House of Refuge, 1401 East Washington Street, officiated by Elder Melvin Boone. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
