Louise C. Langston, a native of Nansemond County, Virginia was born August 18, 1923 to the late Arthur and Mollie Langston. She was preceded in death by her son, James Langston, her brothers, Henry Green, Blake Taylor, Arthur Langston, Jr. and Riverson Langston, her sisters, Rosa Baker and Johnnie Elizabeth Wyche. She entered the arms of her loving Savior on February 21, 2008.

She attended Nansemond County Public Schools and later worked for the Valley Medical Center as a nurse’s aide until her retirement in the early 80's. She was blessed to become a mother of four wonderful and loving children whom she loved dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, William Langston (Theresa) of Patterson, NJ, Robert L. Langston (Barbara) of Westwood, NJ and Michael Langston (Janet) of Suffolk; two brothers, Redell Langston (Mollie) of Delaware, MD and Raymond Langston (Mageline) of Suffolk; one sister, Flossie Saunders-Eure of Suffolk; two devoted sisters-in-law, Mary Lue Langston and Martha Langston of Suffolk and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Holland Mission United Church of Christ, 221 Dutch Rd, Suffolk, with Pastor Freddie Hines as the officiant. Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery on Kings Fork Rd. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
