SUFFOLK - Lonnie Harrell of 107 Raleigh Avenue, Suffolk, passed away Monday, January 7, 2008 at his residence, at the age of 52. He passed away at the age of 52 and was born in Nansemond County. He was preceded in death by his father Willie Harrell and a brother, William Harrell.

He attended John F. Kennedy High School and was a member of the Together Brothers Club.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Patrice M. Williams (Wave) of Suffolk; one son, Carlos Bailey (Shawanna) of Hampton; five sisters, Brenda Faison (Hersey), Mary "Linda" Harrell of Maryland, Tonas High (Larry) of North Carolina, Jo Ann Harrell, and Joyce Riddick (Calvin) of Suffolk; two brothers, Dennis Harrell and Calvin Murphy of Maryland; three grandchildren, Monte Williams, Dakari Bailey, and CarShawnnah Bailey; a devoted nephew, Chad Harrell; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Crocker Funeral Home with Dr. D. L. Baltimore, officiating. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 205 John Deere Street, Suffolk and will assemble at 205 Woodhaven Drive, Suffolk, for the funeral procession.
