PORTSMOUTH, VA - Lillie Pearl Lawrence of 914 Warfield Drive, Portsmouth, VA entered into eternal rest and peace on November 16, 2007 at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, in Portsmouth, VA. She was a native of Folkston, GA and the daughter of the late Odell Maynor and Lila Maynor.

Mrs. Lawrence was a Registered Nurse for 32 yrs before retiring. Her career spanned hospitals in the Portsmouth and Norfolk area and private duty.

She leaves to mourn her loss and treasure her memory: her husband, Hersey P. Lawrence of Portsmouth; her mother Della Smith from Suffolk, VA; one step-daughter, Martha Trotman (Marvin) from Virginia Beach, VA; one adopted daughter, Shari Haynes from Portsmouth, VA; one step-son Eric (Kelly) from Suffolk, VA; one sister, Lisa Mae Milton from Folkston, GA; three brothers, Leroy Maynor (Rose) from Folkston, GA, Odell Maynor Jr., from Folkston, GA, and Steve Maynor Sr. (Dolly) from Folkston, GA; 10 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at Crocker Funeral Home, 900 E. Washington Street, Suffolk, VA by Bishop M. G. Copeland. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk.
