Michael Alonzo Boone of 609 Chisholm Lane, Suffolk died Monday, March 1, 2010 in VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of Leola Boone and the late James Hinton.

 

He attended John F. Kennedy High School.

 

Besides his mother, Leola Boone, he leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Michael Boone of Portsmouth, VA and Antonio Elliott of Suffolk; two sisters, Sera Knight of Portsmouth, foster sister, Carrie Trotter of Norfolk, VA; three brothers, Rickey Boone (Bertina) of Raleigh, NC, Preston Boone of Suffolk, and Jeffery Boone (Vanessa) of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Elder Melvin A. Boone. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
