Mable C. Uzzle of 12488 Shiloh Drive, Windsor, VA died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Isle of Wight and the daughter of the late Catherne C. Duck. She is also predeceased by her husband, Lonnie H. Uzzle; a daughter, Pauline Kindred; a sister, Virginia Beale; and one brother, Arthur Duck.

She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Joyce Johnson (James) of Windsor, VA, Virginia Uzzle of Windsor, VA, Arletta Dixon of Hampton, VA and Catherine Townes (Leon) of Newport News, VA; one son, Jesse Uzzle of Windsor, VA; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; thirty great great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Tynes of LaGrange, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at Chapel Grove United Church of Christ in Windsor officiated by Rev. J. J. Ferguson and Pastor H.. Caryle Church.
