Suffolk - Maurice Gray, 34 of 606 ½ County Street, Suffolk, VA died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of the late Leon Dildy and Clarine Collins Gray. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Shakeema Gray and his sister, Valarie Gray.

 He was employed at Birdsong Peanut Company.  

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Shaquille Outlaw of Suffolk and Maurice Gray, Jr. of Petersburg, VA.; three sisters, Tereon Johns of Greensville, NC, Yvonne Finley (James) and Libby Gray both of Suffolk; two brothers, Herman Gray (Lorraine) and Leon Dildy, Jr. (Angela) both of Suffolk; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

A funeral will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Langston Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
