Pearl Doreatha Fields

PEARL DOREATHA FEILDS 

   
SUFFOLK – Pearl Doreatha Fields of 300 North Capitol Street, Suffolk, entered into eternal rest and peace on July 24, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital. A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late George Hinton and Beulah Hill and the widow of Walter Fields.

She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and the Willing Workers Club.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Carolyn Fields of Frederick, MD; four sons, William L. Madison (Tommie) of McLeansville, NC, David L. Madison, Sr. (Amanda), James A. Fields (Vanessa), and William "Pete" Madison (Claudia), all of Suffolk; three sisters, Elnora Nicholson (Howard), Luella Smith, and Robin Crocker, all of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Elnora Stagg of Portsmouth, Thelma Tyler of Silver Spring, MD, and Vera Fields of Chesapeake; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. George Smith. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
