SUFFOLK - Robert Earl Jolly, 73, of 1340 Cherokee Court, Suffolk, passed from life to eternity on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Suffolk and son of the late Mable J. Everett and stepson of James M. Everett, Sr.

Mr. Jolly was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and attended Norfolk State University. He was a former brick layer. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by four daughters: Patrice H. Weaver (Andre) of Suffolk; Sharon J. Robertson (Neal) of Georgia, Valerie H. Darden (Joe) of Franklin, and Cheryl Dildy of Virginia Beach; one stepdaughter, Linda Jacobs; two sons, Karnell Jolly (Connie) of Maryland and Earl Jolly of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives ands friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Crocker Funeral Home by The Rev. Janice White. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at 404 Great Oak Court, Suffolk.
