SUFFOLK - Shirley Lewis King of 122 South Eleventh Street, Suffolk, passed away April 9, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of Ahoskie, NC and daughter of the late Clarence Beverly and Roxanna Bynum.

She was a retired Domestic Worker.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Shelton King of Suffolk; one brother, Wardell Beverly and his wife, Joann of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2008 in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
