Spencer Leroy White, 59 of 116 Ardway Avenue, Warwick, RI died Friday, April 4, 2009 in Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was a native of Whaleyville, VA and the son of Martha White Ralph and the late Sherry Jordan.

He attended John F. Kennedy High School. He was employed at Cranston Correctional Center in Cranston, RI for ten years.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Cynthia Whitehead Drayton of Suffolk; two sons, Raymond Lee Gary and Keith Pittman (Laura) both of Providence, RI; eight grandchildren; his mother, Martha White Ralph; two sisters, Patricia Ann White and Gloria Denise Halley both of Suffolk; an uncle, Elder William E. Golden (Gertrude) of Virginia Beach; three aunts, Anna Porter (Samuel), Frances Towns, Gracie Wilson all of Suffolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church officiated by Elder William Golden and Pastor Catherine Skinner. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his mother, Martha Ralph, 925 Brooke Avenue, Apt. 121 in Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
