PORTSMOUTH - Vernon Lee Hall of the 900 block of Bold Street, Portsmouth, entered into eternal rest and peace on March 11, 2008, at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. He was a native of Baltimore, MD and was preceded in death by his father, Stephen H. Hall.

He received his education at Booker T. Washington High School, Suffolk and at Crestwood High School, Chesapeake.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Mildred L. Hall of Portsmouth; one brother, Herman Hall, Jr. (Hazel) of Portsmouth; two nieces, Dianne Hall and Joanne Dingle; one nephew, Robert Hall; two great nieces, Brittany Hall and Bobbie Dingle; two great nephews, Jaimie Bagby and Brandon Hall; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Crocker Funeral Home, officiated by The Rev. James Webb. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
