Virginia Watkins Johnson Ellis, 96 died January 2, 2008 in Chicago, Ill. A native of Suffolk, she is survived by two daughters, Jenyce Jiggets (Lawrence) of Chesapeake and Eloise Harris (John) of Chicago, two grandchildren, George Fields (Bernice) of South Carolina and Michael Harris of Chicago, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Crocker Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, January 11, 2008 from 9 a.m. - 9p.m. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
