Suffolk - William Alfred "Junie" Scott Jr., 57, of 425 Woodruff St. died on Feb. 10, 2009 in Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk, Va., and a son of the late William Alfred Scott Sr., and Mary Frances Scott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Hinton Scott, and a brother, George Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters, Titina Hinton Collins (Russell), of Suffolk, Va., Frenchie Renee Rodgers, of Portsmouth, Va., and Kenesha Scott, of Newport News, Va.; two sisters, Margaret Parker and Ida Mae Scott, of Suffolk, Virginia; four brothers, Rickey Scott, Reginald Scott, Roland Scott, and Tony Scott all of Suffolk, Va.; four grandchildren, a mother-in-law, Margaret Warren; four aunts, Margaret Sears, Ethel Hargrave, Glozia Sears, Patricia Hargrove; three uncles, Albert Tillery, William Sears, and Malachi Hargrave; 11 nieces, 10 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Crocker Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Anthony Copeland. Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at 318 Cedar St., Suffolk, Va. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
