WINDSOR - William "Pee Wee" Fleetwood, Jr., 71, of 21298 Orbit Road, Windsor, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family and caregivers. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and was preceded in death by his parents, William Fleetwood, Sr. and Cora Lee Fleetwood and two brothers, Willie Eley and Alphonsa Fleetwood.

He retired as a farmer for John T. Butler, Inc. in 1999 after 41 years of service. After retiring, he became a dump truck driver for Henry Stiltner, Inc. and C & A Hauling. He was a member of Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church, Windsor.

He leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Juanita P. Fleetwood; three daughters, Carolyn Liggins (Edward), Janice Williams (Frank) of Suffolk, and Benita Eley of Windsor; one son, William Eley, Jr. (Denise) of Windsor; four sisters, Mary Copeland (Floyd) of Windsor, Beatrice Jones (James) of Nyack, NY, Charlotte Smith (Pernell) of Suffolk, and Evelyn Terrell (Herman) of Hampton; two brothers, Robert Fleetwood (Prentis) of Suffolk and Melvin Fleetwood (Freda) of Hampton; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two aunts, Gwendolyn Reid and Hattie Bell Stevenson; special nephew, Melvin Jackson, Jr. and his favorite sister-in-law, Rachel Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Holly Grove AME Church, 21404 Orbit Road, Windsor, conducted by The Rev. Beatrice Smaugh. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence, 21298 Orbit Road, Windsor. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
