Willie O'Neal Norfleet

 
WILLIE O'NEAL NORFLEET 
 

SUFFOLK - Willie O'Neal Norfleet, 58, of the 1100 block of Nansemond Parkway, died April 18, 2009, in his residence. He was a native of the Holland section of Suffolk and the son of the late Leroy and Flossie Doris Warren Norfleet. He was also predeceased by his brother, Leroy Norfleet Jr.

 He retired as a policeman at the Naval Base in Norfolk due to illness. He also worked with the Fish Window Cleaning business. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sabrina Norfleet; two daughters, Jada Norfleet and Mia Norfleet, both of Suffolk; one son, Reginald Norfleet of Franklin, Va.; one grandchild, Siniyah Norfleet; five sisters, Evelyn Griggs of Virginia Beach, Margaret McGriff of New Jersey, Betty Jean Norfleet of Baltimore, Florine (John) Yarborough of Virginia Beach and Edna Walden (Kenneth) of Suffolk; his mother-in-law, Margaret Newby; sisters-in-law, Judy Wiggins, Margaret Newby, Vicky Newby Howell; brothers-in-law, Floyd Newby Jr., Don Newby, John Newby, Charles Newby and Vinson Newby (Barbara); aunts, Lucille Perkins of Petersburg, Va., and Dale Norfleet of Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Sinai Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Joseph Goode, pastor. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
