SUFFOLK - Xzybrel Savage, 25, of 1400 Forest Oak Lane, Suffolk, passed away December 1, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was born in Suffolk to James Savage, Jr. and the late Dorothy Ann Johnson Savage. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Eure.

She attended Lakeland High School and was employed by Quality Time Child Care Center. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her father, James Savage, Jr. and stepmother, Ethel Savage; two daughters, Xzybre Savage and Xzymauri Savage; one son, Xzywon Savage, all of Suffolk; two sisters, Tammy Savage of New York, NY and Adrienne Johnson of Portsmouth; one brother, Jermaine Savage of Suffolk; devoted friend, James T. Copeland, Jr.; several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon Monday, December 8, 2008 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Anthony Copeland, Pastor. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mr. & Mrs. James Savage, 2002 Woodshire Way, and at the home of George and Maxine Boykins, 543 Chisholm Lane, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
