On November 21, 2022, Betty passed away at her home on Blythewood Lane. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Son, Christopher Freeman; Granddaughter, Ta’Myra Freeman, Suffolk; Sisters: Willie Mae Bullock, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Juanita Parker, Suffolk, Virginia. Brothers, William A. Freeman, Sr. (Carolyn), Eugene Evans, of Suffolk, Richard Evans of Maryland. Nieces, Sheryl Freeman of Chesapeake, VA, Dana Anthony (C.J) of Wendall, NC, and Kelly Freeman of Houston, Texas. Nephews, Brian Freeman of Suffolk, William A. Freeman, Jr. (Linsey) Portsmouth, VA. (Great-nephew: Jeremiah Anthony; Great-nieces, SaniyAustin, Melanie Freeman, Skylar Freeman, Norah Freeman, and others. 

A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
