Linwood U. Holland

Deacon Linwood U. Holland, 99, of South Quay Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his residence. He was a recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal and a Montford Point Marine WWII Veteran.

A viewing will be held 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will be held  noon, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 4481 Butler Drive, Suffolk, Virginia 23437.

Rev. L. Stephon Johnson will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
