Mary Christine Boone

August 5, 2029 - December 24, 2022

Mary Christine Boone, 93, of Suffolk, Virginia departed this life on December 24, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel White and the late Lillie Taylor White of Chowan, North Carolina. Christine was married to the late Willis "Billy" Boone, Sr. until he was called home by the Lord.

Together, they raised their six children. Three of those children preceded her in death: Willis Boone, Jr., Vanessa Jacobs, and Michael Boone. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Judie Boone, Delilah Porter (Sylvester), Frances Shoulders (Reginald), ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, two sister-in-loves, and two brother-in-loves. 

A public viewing will be held 3:00 - 7:00pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, January 5, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. Ms. Boone will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
