Mary Hicks, 85, transitioned Friday, December 9, 2022 at Northern Cardinal Nursing Home. A public viewing will be held 4:00 - 7:00pm, Sunday, December 18, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 12 Noon, Monday, December 19, 2022 at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 125 County Street, Suffolk, VA 23434. Ms. Hicks will be laid to rest at Gilfield Baptist Church Cemetery, 9040 Doles Road, Ivor, VA 23866. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
